Did Sonic Youth Suck?
Or is Billy Corgan an Idiot?
If you’re a true original sicko like me(don’t worry, my trademark on that is coming later this week from the patent office or wherever the fuck those things come from) and you’re still on twitter to quote-unquote “see what our evil society is up to today,” then you may have heard the latest craze: SONIC YOUTH SUCKED ACKSUALLY. Well that’s what people are saying anyway. Against all odds, the conversation started not with Billy Corgan saying some bozo thing, as Billy Corgan is wont to do, but from the nouveau trad catholic side of twitter paraphrasing said bozo Billy Corgan to make a point about the reasons why everything sucks now. The tweets go in order like this:

And then there’s a video from some guy, presumably Rick Beato, saying either something stupid or deeply profound, which I will never know the difference because I can’t spend my one precious life watching every little video on twitter from a guy with a name that sounds like a porn spam bot(sorry, I’ve pledged undying fealty to Doug Bonar in that regard and there’s no going back).
